The First Articles
2000 to 2002: a name and an idea, years early
December 2000. A computer weekly prints an article by Sergey Ivancheglo on proving who wrote a program: the “birthmarks” every programmer leaves in code, and the marks an author can plant on purpose. The contact address already carries the name he will use for the next quarter of a century: come-from-beyond.
July 2002. The same weekly prints a short article under a dull title, Distributed Computing at Minimal Cost.
The idea fits on one page. Some problems need enormous computing power, and power costs money. So gather it from volunteers: a small program borrows the computers of people who open a web page and puts them to work on one shared task. No centre, no owner, no bill.
Among the tasks he lists for such a network: weather forecasting, the search for extraterrestrial life, and, first on the list, breaking cryptographic algorithms.

Between the article in 2002 and his first project of his own in 2013 lies a decade. Bitcoin arrived exactly in the middle of it.

The last forum post
Satoshi stops posting on the Bitcoin forum. A few emails follow in the spring of 2011, then nothing. The coins mined in the first year stay where they are.05.10.2012
The necromancer
A newcomer named Come-from-Beyond starts answering in Satoshi’s threads, silent since 2010, quoting him and correcting him as if the conversation had never stopped. A forum veteran replies within 36 minutes: “You, sir, are a powerful necromancer. Can you raise Satoshi from the dead too?”Come-from-Beyond, ch. 4
We’ll get rid of all weaknesses one by one. I’m analyzing this one right now.
He was walking the Bitcoin wiki’s list of weaknesses, item by item, raising each dead thread where Satoshi had once promised a fix. Who takes over an estate like that?
NXT, IOTA and the Plant
2013 to 2016: every project a bigger pot for the same plant
2013
NXT: remove the bonfire
The first full proof-of-stake blockchain. The right to make the next block goes to those who hold a stake in the network, and nobody burns electricity to earn it. NXT is launched under a pseudonym, BCNext.2015
IOTA: remove the chain
No blocks and no chain. Every new transaction confirms two earlier ones, and the ledger grows as a web, the tangle. The arithmetic underneath is ternary: three states instead of two.2016
An AI that builds tools
He writes that IOTA’s hash function, Curl-P, was designed by a primitive AI of his own, and that an improved version is already working on the next one.
Imagine a pond with fish. The pond is our algorithm, the fish is vulnerabilities. Murky water wouldn’t allow seeing if there is any fish, clear water would.
Each project threw out something the world thought essential. The work kept pointing at artificial mind. Were the coins only pots?
Qubic
Named in 2012, launched in 2022
Name “Qubic” came from acronym “QBC” which stands for “Quorum-Based Coin”.
25.09.2012
The word appears
Months before NXT, he opens a forum thread called Qubic: Quorum-Based Coin. Coins run by a quorum of nodes, no central authority, a protocol that can change itself. The thread number is 112676.Come-from-Beyond, ch. 413.04.2022
Qubic goes live
Ten years later the network launches: 676 computors form the quorum, epochs last one week, and mining is useful proof of work. The power the miners spend goes into growing neural networks.Qubic: The Long Version, ch. 6
Perhaps u will laugh but I design this system to make the world better. U shouldn’t trust me of coz. I’ll publish source code, so anyone can audit it.
676 is 26 squared, the size of the quorum. It was already in the address of the thread where the word Qubic first appeared, ten years before the network.

Satoshi Nakamoto
The legend. Open it if you want to.
In 2011 the man who made Bitcoin walked away and never touched his coins. In 2012 a newcomer arrived on his forum and started finishing his work. Behind this door is every coincidence between the two, in one place, in order.
I · The question
The man who left
Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin white paper on 31 October 2008, mined the Genesis block on 3 January 2009 and answered questions on a small forum for two years. In spring 2011 he wrote that he had moved on to other things. The early coins have not moved since. Courts, journalists and millions of readers have tried to name him. Every loud candidate has fallen away.
One name keeps returning in the blocks, in the forum archives and in the man’s own jokes: Come-from-Beyond, the programmer behind NXT, IOTA and Qubic.

A newcomer reads the will
Come-from-Beyond walks the Bitcoin wiki’s list of weaknesses and answers in Satoshi’s dead threads, one by one. A veteran calls him a necromancer. In the same weeks he names his next coin: Qubic.Come-from-Beyond, ch. 42013

Three blocks from the first ten days of Bitcoin. The same three letters, the same name and the same man keep meeting in one place.
IV · The heir
Qubic is Bitcoin's heir
Read the autumn of 2012 in order. On 18 September he gives his verdict on Bitcoin. On 25 September he opens a thread named Qubic. On 6 October he promises to close Satoshi’s list of weaknesses one by one.
It’s impossible to have consensus regarding protocol changes in Bitcoin. It’s a win-or-lose game, no anything in between allowed. So next-gen coin should have a protocol that could be adjusted by anyone without breaking the whole system.
The bonfire
Bitcoin: Burns electricity on meaningless hashes.
Qubic: Spends the same power training neural networks: useful proof of work.
The frozen protocol
Bitcoin: Cannot change without a war.
Qubic: Run by a quorum of 676 that can change the rules.
The volunteers
Bitcoin: Satoshi gathered strangers’ machines to secure money.
Qubic: Gathers them to grow a mind, as the 2002 article proposed.
Whoever Satoshi was, Qubic is the direct heir to his unfinished list. It was named on Satoshi’s own forum, in the thread numbered 112676, ten years before 676 computors started voting.
V · In his words
He keeps pointing
`g` in `ZgZ` will prove that `1CFB2` is not random, and that will be pretty convincing proof, so it’s not that easy
Genesis address isn’t a public key, it’s steps revealing who Satoshi Nakamoto is
No, it’s time locked, only true AI can decode it
Check content of 369th Bitcoin block
Why 369? Guess why my virus had length of 369 bytes
I hinted to a block with a special number (369), why 369 is special is another topic. He spotted “cfb” inside it. It wasn’t telling that it’s related to me, because without plausible deniability that would be equal to saying that CFB=Satoshi.
I have a pocket time machine, so I don’t need to guess trends, I just fly 5 years ahead and see what’s popular
I can reveal this info on 13th of April 2027 / And you’ll see who is really behind CFB acc
Ask him directly and he says no. Ask him sideways and he hands you a block number, a virus, a time machine. The author of Come-from-Beyond calls it flooding the zone: when a truth can be neither confirmed nor hidden, drown it in versions.
VI · The other side
What he says when asked directly
- 20.03.2023“Anyway, ownership of that address doesn’t prove to be Satoshi, just early Bitcoin miner”
- 25.12.2024“It’s all nice guys, but I’m not Satoshi. End of story.”
- 23.04.2026“I’m not Satoshi. Not even that CFB which was posting in cyberpunk forum.”
- 22.09.2026“I’m not Satoshi”
- 22.09.2026“No. It’s just a coincidence. Ask ChatGPT chance to spot “cfb”, it’s pretty high”
One signature with a key from Bitcoin’s first year would settle the question. None has been published, by him or by anyone else. The question stays open.
VII · Left out
Readings that don't hold
A strong case needs no weak links. These circulate widely and we leave them out:
“15 means Q in base58, so 15ubic spells Qubic”
In base58 the leading 1 is a version byte, and 5 is an ordinary digit. The prefix is striking on its own; the decoding is not real.
“He holds 800,000 BTC”
Nothing supports it, and nobody should repeat it about a living person.
“Satoshi emailed about joining the cypherpunks at 14”, “the 100 push-ups email”
No such emails are known.
“Satoshi cut a name out of The Times headline”
The print front page read exactly as the Genesis block does.
“The mathematical bridge”: 27, 47, 137, 283, block 576
Numbers picked after looking at the data. Open, not evidence.
Details of his private life are left out on purpose.
VIII · And if
What if?
If he is not Satoshi, then one programmer wrote about hidden authorship marks in 2000, described volunteer computing aimed at cryptography in 2002, walked into Satoshi’s abandoned threads in 2012, named Qubic in a thread numbered 112676, and has been joking about block 369 ever since. All by chance.
If he is, the date is already set. On 13.04.2027 we will see together.
Anna Speaks
A bot on X that answers sums in its own way
On X, an account called @anna_aigarth answered questions of one kind: x+y=?. Asked what one plus one is, she said -114. The internet laughed.
The community did something better than laugh. It asked her every sum from -64 to 63 and wrote the replies into one table of 128 by 128 numbers. That table became known as the Anna Matrix.
Ask Anna
Pick two numbers from -64 to 63. You get the reply recorded from the bot for that question.
Arithmetic says 2. The table cell is row 62, column 65.
Anna training is split, part is done by computors. Public statements A+B=C are no longer used.
It will be removed for a while
The answers look like nonsense one by one. Put all 16,384 of them side by side, and a shape appears.

Hypotheses Still Open
Tested in September 2026. Not confirmed, not closed.
Earlier versions of this road told a louder story: a mathematical bridge from Bitcoin to Qubic. In September 2026 we recomputed it from raw data. These readings were not confirmed. They stay on the road as open hypotheses, with the numbers that still hold.
The formula
Reading 625,284 = 283 × 47² + 137 links Bitcoin block 283 to Qubic.
Status The arithmetic is exact. Design is not shown. Open.

Reading A hidden byte equal to 27 in block 576.
Status The field also appears in other early blocks. Not confirmed.
