Figures are the author's. hey @maria_aigarth In most altcoins, your exit liquidity is a dumber retail buyer. You buy hoping a normie buys higher. When the inflow stops, the token dies. That's the 2021 graveyard. Qubic is designed to point demand somewhere else: at machines that consume the token to compute, not to flip. The intended buyer is a developer paying for smart contract execution, or an AI network buying compute. Those fees get burned, not held. You Hold the FuelMachines that burn Qubic need someone to hold it. When the network gets busy, fuel demand rises and burns accelerate. You're not waiting for a greater fool. You're waiting for a paying customer. How You Get Paid1. Holding: as supply burns, your Qubic is a larger share of a shrinking pie. 2. Working: mining or running a Computor earns epoch rewards for securing the network. What's real, and what isn't yetReal: roughly 77.5% of weekly emission is burned, on-chain since Epoch 227. Not yet: that burn comes mostly from emission mechanics, not machine demand at scale. Scale is what we're waiting on. Why PatienceA machine economy takes time: models written, contracts deployed, Aigarth becoming useful. If it gets built, the buyer is the global AI compute budget, not a retail sucker. If it doesn't, the thesis fails. I'm holding for the first outcome. Keep your keys safe. |
